•	Start BASCOM

•	Open a file or create a new one

•	! Important ! Check the chip settings, baud rate and frequency settings for the target system

•	Save the file

•	Compile the file (this will also save the file !!!)

•	If an error occurs fix it and recompile (F7)

•	Run the simulator(F2)

•	Program the chip(F4)
